Wellness from wherever.
Project:
After having an unusual year of working from home, the need to prioritize our collective mental health is at an all time high. All Well wants to integrate wellness into the workday with 15 minute or less wellness retreats, in the form of - meditation, yoga, breathing, and other quick workshops. I designed their logo and built initial brand identity guidelines to support the company as it takes shape before its launch.
Role: Logo, brand identity, UI design
Agency: Freelance
Year: 2020
Result:
The minimal logo and brand guidelines include color palettes, typography, icons and much more, became a helpful tool to help navigate the company in a saturated yet necessary industry. Part of this project also included an intro website targeting HR managers & executive leadership who are seeking to prioritize mental health and wellness for their employees.
The logo:
After multiple rounds of revision and using the words above as a guide, the founder and I had our minds set on this minimal design. I started with a simple circle and incorporated the logo text into it. The opening of the circle at the top left of the logo suggests an openness for taking care of our mental health. Additionally, it represents the short window of time for wellness breaks - and that is all it takes for a healthy and productive day ahead.
Taking a breather.
Keeping in mind the ‘integration’ factor and adapting to a new normal, I came up with potential assets designed for screens to ‘nudge’ users into taking breaks. Assets includes custom desktop screensavers and video call background.
Here on the left, is a mockup of an All Well meditation session, seen in an employee’s busy calendar. And the calendar event comes with its own branded calendar card.
